When it comes to safety, there are many safety products out there. But what safety product is best for you? Well it all depends on the situation. Some safety products can be as simple as a flashlight, others can be more extreme, like a Taser. No one is immune to safety, and we all at some time or another have needed some sort of safety product or device. Some people, however, are more vulnerable in certain situations than others. For example, seniors may need a little more safety precautions because -- unfortunately -- there are people out there looking for an easy target. Women walking or running alone -- especially when it's dark -- are also easy prey for criminals.

A Safety Product for Every Situation:

Keychain Flashlight -- As simple as this sounds, this safety product can actually help out a great deal. How many times have you been fumbling at the door of your house our apartment to find the keyhole? That right there is a perfect target for an intruder or burglar...or worse. You're distracted and not paying attention to your surroundings. Anyone can mug you or worse. With a keychain flashlight, finding the hole is a lot easier and cuts down on loitering time.

Whistle -- Seems like a kid's toy, but a whistle can bring attention to yourself. If you're being accosted and you blow your whistle, chances are, the perpetrator will be scared off. No culprit wants to bring attention to himself.

MASE -- This chemical burns, and when shot in the face or eyes of the culprit, it can render him helpless long enough for you to get away. Don't look back, just run away screaming for help.

Always notify the police if something happens. Remember, each safety product plays a role, but the best safety product is your wit.
