Survival

When it comes to survival, that can mean anything, from camping to surviving in the city. You need survival skills in practically every environment you're in. For those who grew up in the city, the country and woods can be a scary place, and vice versa. For those who grew up in the country or woods, the city can be terrifying. What may seem like common sense to you may not be as obvious to someone else. For example, do you know what to do in the event of a bear attack? Probably not. Just like someone from the country would not know what to do in the event in a terror alert.

City and Country Survival Kit
For the Woods:
Pencil and waterproof paper
Swiss Army knife
Whistle and a compass
Lighter
Mini flashlight
Mirror
Blanket

These are just for starters for basic survival in the woods. Be careful and be safe.
For the City:
Cash
A working idea of where you're going
Lots of cab fare (if a tourist)
A map
Cell phone

Whenever you're in a strange surrounding, the last thing you want to be is preyed upon. That's the first rule to survival. If you look like you're lost and don't know what you're doing, you're setting yourself up to be a victim. This goes for the woods and the city both. When it comes to safety you can never be to careful. Your survival is dependent on your skills and your wit. And the more you know the better for you.
