Survival Supplies
When we talk about survival supplies, we want you to keep the basics is mind. Of course, every situation has its specific tools needed to cope, but there are some fundamental supplies that everyone should have, just in case you find yourself stuck in a predicament. But before all that, the most important of all the survival supplies is common sense and a calm head. No matter what tools you have, they won't be effective if someone is panicking or does not know how to use them. When you get your survival supplies, make sure you test them out first.
Basic Survival Supplies
When it comes to survival supplies, there are the basics. For instance, everyone should have a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and extra supply of food. This goes for if you're in the woods, camping or sailing. But like we said, above all, common sense plays a big part of it. You don't want to have all this equipment and not know what to do with it. You also should have a calm head. Knowledge and supplies are great, but if someone is panicky, it doesn't do much good. It sounds like a lot, but survival is no easy task.
"I remember that one time I was sailing with a few friends and everything went wrong. first of all, we sprung a leak and our sailboat started to sink. It's a good thing we had a lifeboat and made it to a deserted beach. We had to start a fire, but our lighters were in the sailboat. I used my survival knife and made a fire using the magnifying glass. We used it to fish and cook with. We spent a total of three days on the beach before we got a signal from the radio we saved from the boat. It was a crazy ordeal, but we were all prepared, thanks to our survival supplies and knowledge and calm heads." Jenny, Tom, Sarah, Mike -- California
